Acclaimed composer and cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir has just been awarded the Golden Globe, Oscar and the Grammy for either scoring the music for the drama Joker or the five-part miniseries Chernobyl. And since we had ongoing conversations over the past year, Hildur decided to invite us over to her Berlin-based studio to show us how Cubase easily integrates into her creative workflow and to talk about composing the very different soundtracks for two sombre movies both released in 2019.
