HALion Sonic
HALion Sonic is your new free player for sample libraries, synthesizers and hybrid instruments, created with HALion by users, sound designers or professional companies. Although HALion Sonic comes without any sample content, you can find several free additional instruments on this page, created by Steinberg, Sonic Atoms and Cinematique Instruments. Download these, start playing them and making use of the powerful virtual-analog synth engine in HALion Sonic. HALion Sonic is available as a plug-in for any VST3, AU and AAX-compatible host and as a stand-alone application for macOS and Windows.

The Anima wavetable synthesizer for HALion comes with hundreds of cutting-edge synth sounds for modern electronic productions. It features two wavetable oscillators, a flexible modulation section and a powerful arpeggiator. It crossfades the waves smoothly in real time, based on an integrated wavetable envelope. Each oscillator features a multi-oscillator that allows you to create up to eight additional voices. Anima includes two monophonic LFOs that can be synchronized to the host tempo.
