Steinberg Statement Regarding COVID-19

With reference to the current events surrounding the Corona Virus, we would like to inform you about the current situation at Steinberg.

Online Shop

We are happy to inform you that the Steinberg Online Shop as well as the other Steinberg online services continue to be available despite the current crisis. All Steinberg download products and activation and download access codes can be purchased and activated as usual; however, delivery of our physical products may currently be affected by restrictions.

Delivery Restrictions

Supplying retailers and distributors with physical Steinberg products as well as dispatching orders to customers may currently be subject to delays or restrictions. The transport and delivery of post and parcel services are restricted in many countries within and outside of Europe. Unfortunately, we cannot ensure that orders including physical products (especially audio hardware and USB-eLicensers) are processed without delay across all countries and regions. We are closely monitoring the situation, and together with our partners, we are working on devising solutions.

The VST Cloud: Steinberg’s Collaboration Tools

In times of social distancing, our collaboration tools, such as VST Connect, allow you to continue to make music with others. Recently, we released maintenance updates for VST Connect Pro, VST Connect SE, VST Connect Performer as well as VST Transit. VST Connect 4.0.40 improves overall stability and performance, while VST Transit not only includes fixes but also new functionality. Anyone who hasn’t considered giving VST Cloud a try, should do so now.
