Nuendo 11.0.10 Release Notes

January 27, 2021

Apple Metal support

We have received reports about graphical issues (spinning balls) on systems using AMD Radeon Pro Vega series graphic cards on macOS previous to macOS Big Sur. Apple has fixed the issue with macOS Big Sur. If you don’t want to or cannot update to macOS Big Sur, we have added a new preference, Disable GPU Acceleration in the category User Interface. This will solve the issue on versions of macOS prior to Big Sur. Be aware that selecting the preference will considerably affect the performance of the user interface.

Steinberg Houston Controller

Although the Houston controller is no longer supported by Steinberg and has been removed from the remote list in Nuendo 11, we have re-introduced it as an unsupported device in the list. However, we have not tested it and we cannot guarantee full functionality in Nuendo 11.

Stability

When selected, certain key commands with the Chord Track could render the application unreliable.

Adding a Transpose Track to specific projects could render the application unreliable.

Exporting a MIDI file from projects which were originally created in Cubase AI/Cubase LE/Cubase Elements could render the application unreliable.

Selecting tracks in projects which were originally created in Cubase AI/Cubase LE/Cubase Elements could render the application unreliable.
