Pioneering artist and producer Amon Tobin is famed for his atmospheric recordings and having taken electronic music to some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Sydney Opera House and the Paris Olympia. We visited Amon in his Los Angeles studio, with its unique night-time ambience, to talk about his new record label Nomark and how Cubase is vital to his recordings, where getting ideas down quickly and transparently is key to his very individual sound.
