Internationally celebrated composer and pianist Nils Frahm has performed on prestigious festivals and stages like the Philharmonie de Paris, Primavera Sound in Barcelona and the Montreux Jazz Festival. And when he's not performing, you can find him at the Funkhaus, one of the largest studio facilities, and that's exactly where we met up with him to talk about his approach to creating contemporary music. Playing piano since his early childhood, Nils soon discovered his second love: technology. Like only few artists of our time, Nils is able to blend acoustic instrumental music with technology-driven experimental sounds and techniques. And Cubase is where it all comes together, at the heart of his impressive studio.
